About Geneviéve: Geneviéve Lisik is a Canadian artist and teacher residing in Victoria, BC. In 2013 she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with distinction from the University of Victoria. She is a painter but enjoys learning and creating art in different mediums such as printmaking and pottery. Her recent work develops her ideas of dance, movement and colour. She has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Victoria.

A dancer since the age of 4, she loves the precision, control, grace and physicality of dance. In 2012 she completed her Members Certification through the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) qualifying her to teach Highland Dancing.

Geneviéve has experience teaching Highland dancing with Lynne Griffiths at the Lynne Griffiths School of Highland Dancing for the past 8 years. She has also taught gr.3 and gr.1/2 during her practicums at St. Stephens Academy, India and Kelset Elementary, North Saanich. She’s always had a passion for teaching and enjoys teaching Sunday school and camps throughout the year. Geneviéve is currently looking for job opportunities in the Victoria school system. When she’s not teaching or dancing she likes to paint and volunteer.
